Jeff S. Dailey (Artistic Director) earned his PhD in theatre from New York University.  A stage director noted for his work with the classics, he has directed all of the plays of Christopher Marlowe, and has also directed many other poetic works from the earliest of times, including award-winning productions of Plautus’ The Captives (the first New York production since the 19th century), the early medieval play The Harrowing of Hell (American premiere), and Marlowe’s Edward II.  
He has also adapted a number of ancient and poetic texts into stage productions.  He was the founder of the Long Island Student Shakespeare Festival, which, over the course of six years, introduced over 1000 students to Shakespearean performance.
He is the author of a number of works on theatrical and musical history and performance.  Member, VASTA and SDC.
